A new survey indicates that sales of compact discs are down again this year.
The survey, commissioned by the Recording Industry Association of America, says CD sales were down seven percent during the first six months of the year.

Industry officials say it's further evidence that music-sharing web sites along the lines of Napster are hurting sales.

35 percent of survey respondents said they go directly to a file-sharing site whenever they hear something new that they like. Only 10 percent said they go out and buy the CD.

860 people took part in the survey, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3½ percent.

Well gee guys, its your survey, i bet its going to show that the internet is costing you money.

Lets try this. You, the RIAA, are costing yourselves a bunch of money because your a bunch of fucknuggets. Before you launched your crusade for more money and tried to step on my right of fair use i gladly bought CDs after hearing a few songs that i was able to get off the net. Now i dont even listen to groups that are in anyway associated with your group. I listen to news radio and i listen to music that artists put on the net for the joy of making music and pleasing others.

Hope you all you RIAA guys starve.
