Last night was the night I was supposed to go to bed an hour early so that I wouldn't feel like I was robbed of sleep this morning. It didn't quite work out that way. I first tried unsuccessfully to turn in at 9pm since I had to be up at 5am this morning. When I laid down in bed I noticed the pounding bass coming from a party on the floor below. I tried to ignore it, but it was just getting more and more frustrating to listen to ...especially on account of it being rap. So I went out to the living room where my gf was watching Alias and explained to her that I needed to borrow the stereo for a minute or two. I turned on the two subs and the amp and let loose some of the most pounding techno I could find. I think I shook the entire building for about two minutes and when I turned off my stereo it was all quiet ...I think the people below had gotten the point. All was quiet until about 9:30pm when the music started back up below. Reasonable at first, but then it got louder and louder. Angrily I got dressed and went down to the lobby and got security at 10:15 to go shut them up. I rode in the elevator with the guard and when the doors opened on the floor with the party it was audible all the way to the elevator lobby ...not too courteous if you ask me. I let him off and continued up to my appt where all was quiet once again and I went back to bed. At 10:45 my gf came to bed and awoke me with a surprise bj. Now, I can't really find any fault in that but I wish she had had the thought an hour or so earlier. Anyway I was back on my way to dreamland at about 11pm. Three hours later at 2am I was awakened by the music again ...apparently the party had gotten its second wind. The music died down again at 2:30 (I'm assuming that the guard was once again summoned) and I tried to go back to sleep. I was in and out of sleep until my alarm went off at 4:30 ...now usually I hit the snooze but today I figured there was no point.  I got up, had some coffee and went to work. So now I'm here and tired and pissed off. I'm thinking of turning up my stereo tomorrow morning when I wake up at 4:30am to give my downstairs neighbors a taste of bass. Let's see how they like it. I will make them live in fear of my Bose® Acoustimass®.

Yeah ...I like it when you wake up and the girl giving you head doesn't disappear in a *poof*.
And the point of the rant wasn't really to brag about a bj, if I was going to do that I would have expounded on all this weekends sexual adventures

you think thats bad? try having your cable TV schedule ajusted by an hour twice a year just because the rest of the country doesn't realize uselessness of thier actions.

twice a year i go through hell.
It takes a month for my internal clock to reset. for the next month i will be an hour early or late for everything.
Im OLD, i dont handle change very well anymore.
