ok, im a relatively new driver, i admit. i took the car to school today, and when i was backing out, it accidently tapped this car behind me(which was basically parked illegally) and then when trying to get off it, i tapped a different car. yes. i wanted to crawl in the deepest hole there is and never come out. i was scared as shit. well the cops come over (this was at my school, and we have like 4) and yknow, theyre like "ok, this isnt so bad." and they tell the dumb ho drivin the car illegally parked (she was in it, and could have warned me) that itll come off with a little scrubbing, and then they go and get the dude who owned the truck i bent the license plate of (which they straightened out just fine). Then the guy comes out after like 10 minutes and was like "sure, no problem" and he was cool about it.now for the real rant. while i was waiting for them to get the dude who owned the truck, they started talkin to me about it. first he wants to see my license, which he then claims is a permit, and that im driving this illegally. its called a temp, 1 permit + 1 temporary license = one license good for 90 days, and yes, it was still good. so after proving his limited intellect, he asks me how i happened. and i admitted, im a new driver, and i didnt check to see if there was someone there, and then when i was going forward, he asked what happened. i said "well theres a problem with the accelerator, where it sort of fluxuates" and then he snaps "well, you need to admit, this is a new car (99 jetta) and theres nothing wrong with it, and youre just inexperienced." ok, explain to me this. if my mom, who has been driving a good 35 years or so, and is the best driver i know can see this problem, why is it that its my fault? or maybe it could be that just cause a car is new, doesnt mean its not broken. and then the other cop goes on to say that i need to get an automatic transmission (cause you know those are so much easier to judge THE END OF THE FUCKING CAR) because i obviously cant handle a clutch. because its new, so theres no problem with it, right? well, needless to say, i hate cops, i feel like shit, and i still wanna crawl in that hole.

Most of the cops around my area are pretty lenient with teenagers. Remember those "racial profiling" lawsuits in L.A.? Well, around here, I've noticed a lot of... well, we can call it "age profiling". A few cops, including the one who decided that I at fault in a failing to yield situation as I yield to all the cars observing the posted 35 speed limit, and then the redneckmobile truck flying towards me going 70 that I can't see over the hill has to swerve to miss me, well, that is reckless driving, bucko. Anyway, I had to go sit in traffic school for 8 hours. It was gay, but uh, I got referred to a high-performance driving school and I went and took a week of classes there. It was sweet, learning how to shift the weight of the car to controllably spin it, wooo. yeah.

I got stopped when I was 14. The cop was pretty nice, but he stopped me for bullshit because he knew i looked young. That shit pisses me off when i actually got the ticket for something i didnt do wrong so he could stop me without problems. and then the idiotic fucking hick judge give me, a 14 year old kid, traffic safety school before ieven register for drivers ed. i couldn't believe somebody was actually that fucking retarded.

Wait, you were 14, so I'm assuming you didn't have a licence. You think that driving w/no licence is OK?
