You all ever had any of these happen to you?

1) Nice day out all day, time to leave, it pours.

2) Pouring sheets of rain when you absolutely have to go somewhere. You run through the rain and end up looking like a drowned rat. You get to destination. Rain stops.

3) Perfect cuddle weather the weekend before your bf/gf/etc arrives and hellishly hot when they arrive.

1 happening right now. 2 if this damn rain doesn't let up soon. Hm, who do I toss out there to appease the gods?

After 1990 i dont even notice the rain anymore. it could be a total down pour and ill still just walk out into it. I watch people run for shelter and just look at them like their nuts.

Remember folks, from 88-90 i was in Panama. Rains every day there, it gets to the point where you dont even notice or care anymore.

What the hell, its just water.

I lived in a tropical area for a few years, gorgeous weather, lovely beaches ... and of course, monsoon season! Then somehow, moves kept taking me north ... I wonder if it's some weird migration pattern ... or if I'm following the magnetic field northward?

Although I'm no Wolfguard yet (I usually carry expensive portable audio equipment...) having lived in Hawaii and now Oregon, rain doesn't really bother me. Sure, it's sunny in Hawaii but when it rains.....it rains. On a particularly rainy Christmas day (more a month) once, the neighbor's kid towed me around the block on a surfboard. . .and we lived on a hillside.

Another time, my 7th grade teacher wouldn't let us go home because it was raining too hard. The school was at the bottom of a driveway, and water was rushing down it pretty fast. She was such a fucking nutcase though. . .she put trashbags on and yelled at us to "be quiet while I go see what to do about this!" What to do? Lady, it's rain, there's nothing you can do!

What the hell? It's just water!
