Fucking Movie Theater, I went to see planet of the apes yesterday and right in the good part when the plot was coming together the movie projector fucking broke the power was cutting in and out for 40 min’s as they were trying to fix it, it was ridiculous. Soi gave up and left. I spent 9 bucks to see a movie and 7 more on soda and candy and I didn’t even get to see the entire fucking thing, I got a free movie pass but it hardly makes up for it. It screwed up my entire night and I feel like going back to that theater and beating up the guy who runs’s the place. They couldn’t repair the damn projector because it was one of those new fucking huge ass screens. I can understand these things happen but this has happened to me more than 4 times in movie Theaters in the past year.

I once worked at a Cinema Complex. We had screening problems during "Braveheart" and I had to stand in front of 424 people, and tell them that they would get free tickets because the film had split. Needless to say, they were not impressed. The point of this post is to tell you to write a letter. The complex will compensate you accordingly. Make them aware of the fact that it was not just the 9 dollars for the movie, it was the experience that was ruined, and not the movie. You'll get a fair amount of free gear. I mention this not to alert you to a "scam", but as a way for you to express your anger to someone who might be able to make a difference.

On a different note, any ideas for my .sig?

9 bucks to see a movie?! Shit, I'll never complain about paying 5 again ... though I can get in for 4.50 back in Illinois ... I love my student ID card.

I don't know how much the big cinema owners would care about 1 person writing a letter of complaint, but it shouldn't take that much out of their fleshy hides to cough up some coupons for you - and they should! Sincere condolences, man. I'd be throwing a temper tantrum on the spot.

When I watched Final Fantasy, there was some guy in there that was belching up some foul fumes. Oh my GOD it reeked! Plus the AC was broken ... and the crowd that was watching it was, well, the stereotypical subculture that is sometimes hygienically challenged. *koff*

when i went to see matrix around half way through there was a blackout in the theater acutaully the whole grid and stores around the theater, they had to give free passes to everybody in the whole place, then we just went a smoked a j behind some building with no lights
