That article is right on the money! There are plenty of girls that find the computer savvy type attractive. Not because they look good, but because we make excellent pay, have nice things, know lots of people... The list goes on. Computer geeks are like the casual professional. We make the same cash as the execs, yet we can work from home in our undies, make or break a company...If I remember correctly Bill Gates wife is a hottie...
There is a flip side to this coin though. There are women who are completely turned OFF by the fact that you have anything to do with computers. They immediately assume you will spend everynight at home in a dark corner playing (insert mp game of choice here) online till the wee hours of the morning.
I've had the unfortunate experience to have run into both! I ran an IS department a few years ago, and was picked up by one of our help desk chicks (mmmmmmmmmmm, she looked so good) anywho, she used me up for contacts and stuff, quit and went to another job for more money, and dumped me in the process. I was engaged until about 2 weeks ago. This paticular women was ANTI-Computer. She would sit her ass on the couch and watch damn stupid ass sit-coms all night long, and if I even touched my computer she would throw a coniption. Needless to say, the computer won this battle and she moves the rest of her shit out of my house tonight!!!!!
