It's not the sig itself.... That's easily ignorable. It's the length, man. The Douglas Adams quote makes it so a few lines of actual conversation from you takes up about 2/3 of my screen when yuor sig is added. It is rather irritating to have to scroll through that much irrelevant (not meant in a bad way) material.
In the same vein as your message: If you don't like my response DON'T READ IT. IGNORE IT. STOP BITCHING. ARE YOU SO BORED THAT YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT ME RESPONDING TO YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR LONG-ASS SIG? Oh yeah, I almost forgot the GODDAMN!

How can you be opposed to Sigs? I feel like i've left myself open. The signature offers me a sense of closure. You can see my name on the left, but it's so informal when you don't leave behind your little tagline.
