No, demonk. They're not going to retry him. They're not going to get him off. There isn't one person in this country who wants him to be set free (default qualifier...).
There were thousands (28?) of interviews, thousands of pages of information. 3000 pages of mostly irrelevant or redundant paperwork is not going to overturn anything. The prosecutors have to look over this information, however, to make sure there isn't anything that would cause a reason to postpone the execution, or more evidence that would help point to co-conspirators.
It really isn't the end of the world. It probably wasn't good that the info was held this long, but it really isn't a breakdown of the American way.
