An ex-Gilbertsville pet store employee who stomped a kitten to death in front of horrified children last year walked out of a Montgomery County courtroom a free man.
A woman who has to live with the nightmare of the kittens violent death had expected Timothy Paules would spend some time behind bars. It wasn't to be and Susan Hudak, whose fiancé's two children witnessed the kittens death, was shocked:
"I can't believe it. I think he should have served some kind of time for doing this in front of small children. I feel it's going to lead to something more in the future."
But Judge Joseph Smythe said the kitten wasn't the issue, that Paules had a broader problem and jail wouldn't help him. And so the man who killed the cat has been ordered into anger management therapy, community service and probation.
But Susan Hudak says one of the children is so traumatized he can't pick up his own pet ferret, fearing he'll hurt it.

Ok people, there are other problems in the world. Yes, this guy needs help. He is being punished for what he did.
I think the problem is with your touchie-feelie kids. if your kid is such a wuss that this bothers him, you better start a fund now for the therapy he will need later. If this is fucking him up so bad that he can be labeled as "traumatized" then you better just lock him in his room and never let him out again.
instead of crying about it teach your kids the lessons that are here.

same here.
but i would not be "traumatized" over the event.
I hit a cat with a lawnmower at the age of 6. Dumb shit ran right into the mower deck and came right out again as a bloody mess. yeah, it was a shock but after a good verbal kick in the ass by the old man i finished mowing the lawn. I was not "traumatized" by the event. i got the "shit happens" speech from the old man and went back to work.
if that happend today i would be drugged and sent to a greif counciler for months.

wow, thats pretty fucked up.
but hey, if you were an impressionable young child and you saw someone else thrash a little baby kitten, theres a high chance youd be pretty goddamn freaked out.

dude...if some guy stomped a kitten to death in front of me I'd be pretty freaked out, and I'm 24. I'd also be pissed...I'm with Jim on that one.
