w0t? j00 don't like XP?
Aside from my DC10 having some mild issues (fixed by the latest betas from Pinnacle) I love XP (Pro edition, of course.) My dual 550 BP6 rig is chugging merrily on it as well - it's so nice to have a bitch system to offload my video renders onto.
Too bad everything's still running on IDE and 100MBits. I need fibreoptics storage and networking ... must have more bandwidth!
And a dedicated OC48 line. And a plasma HDTV. And while I'm dreaming, I'll take a harem too.

ah, grasshopper. Do not restrict yourself to one system. Remember that Windows is also freeware, if you want it to be.

You're suggesting that some people actually pay for Microsoft applications?

Certainly not me.
Sounds to me like your friends enjoy being Bill Gates' bitch. They're probably using XP Home (Anal Lube Not Included) anyways.
(Anally raped by monkeys with MS t-shirts? Nasty. Where the hell did you come up with that one?!

tomorrow im gonna get rid of xp and go back to 2000. i cant stand xp and all of the stupid "minor" bugs that just piss me off and have no solution to whatsoever. i might leave a lil 1 gig partition to install peanut linux on or somethin later, but i actually don't really care. all i do is browse web, play games, listen to music, watch dvds, in that order.

I must admit, I was much taken when I first got XP Professional, Corporate Edition. Right up until bluescreened a few times, and then ate itself.
Back to my 98/2K dual boot...
I would like to mention that my Linux install (my "server" box0r, of course) has NEVER broken.
Never.
