is there certain software that allsow you to print from a certain program to a graphics file.
i was thinking in term like a fax
your fax can be chosen as one of the printers, and then once u click print the faz software takes over
is there a possibility of doing such thing, but so it would print to a graphics file?

There's also a linux version available somewhere... in fact, I seem to remember that the original is a linux program, and the above link is to the Windows port

look at http://www.suntopcorp.com/. They have a program called EZprint, which installs as a printer driver and outputs to image..

sounds like exactly what you're after.

yeah, but it's not that :]

The "print to file" option is to output the data stream to a file instead of to the printer, but the file will contain all the necessary command codes to control the printer to make it print that file..

The output file will in fact contain exactly the same data as would be sent down the wire to the printer..
