microsoft is cool. they sent me one of the new explorer 3.0 mice! it's great, they fixed eveything that was wrong with the old one. the mouse wheel is nice and solid feeling, the side buttons are firm, and shape is slimmer and feels nicer, and the optical sensor has been improved so that I can't make the cursor warp no matter how fast I jerk the thing around. All this for free too!
