I'm writing a biographical paper for my history of tcom industry class, and rather than write about Gates like everyone else, I decided to write about open source and free software ppl. I chose Linus (of course), Richard Stallman, Rasmus Lerdorf, and Stig Bakken.The problem is, while there is lots of technical info out there, biographical info is extremely lacking. So my question is:
Do any of you have (or know of) any sources of biographical info (childhood, family, personal stuff, etc.) about any of these guys? I have emailed them all, and have gotten replies from all but Linus, but they're pretty busy and haven't responded to the questions I sent them and it's getting towards crunch time
