I've had that for awhile myself. Glad I'm not the only one suffering from Borked DetNet Menus.

Unfortunately it won't let me use my TV tuner card fullscreen. Plus, I can't even cut the resolution down to make it fullscreen - WinXP only goes to 800x600! Damn you, MS and WinTV! Why can't you two just get along?!?

That's why I still have a Win98 install. I don't like dropped frames when recording video.

After I installed IE 6.0 my detnet frame didn't work either. You can't click on the text for the link, you have to click on the surrounding button.

Oh well, such is life.

Without the registration feature

It's all about the volume license, baby.

Things I like so far :

- The new TCP/IP stack hauls ass. IE is *MUCH* faster.
- Works with all my hardware.
- You can turn off the Fisher Price skin.

Things I don't like :

- IE 6 looks like a Nintendo game. And the detnet menus don't work right.

Yeah. IE6 has issues with the detnet menus. Most drop down menus, it seems.

I'm planning on upgrading to either Win2k or XP. Any advice on which one?

You may as well go with XP. It's basically Windows 2000 with a new, shiny interface, and some major improvements under the hood.

The biggest difference I've seen so far is that networking is *much* faster under XP. w00t!
