Ok i should be getting a comp in the next week or so, athlon 1.4. Just wondering, am i going to need DDR RAM to use a 266MHz FSB? It's got 256 pc-133 SDRAM atm. thanx

At current prices, why not go for DDR ... since you've got a 1.4GHz TBird I don't think you're exactly strapped for cash.

There's a difference though. DDR's bandwidth is much greater, but unless you're getting PC2400, the latency is higher. (PC2100 is CAS 2.5, but PC2400 is CAS 2)
