That's what I'd like to know. It seems that everyone thinks that unless you've lost your virginity you are nothing. At least everyone I've talked to outside of my immediate family. I don't get it. Don't we have enough problems with STDs and abortions and teenage pregnancies for people to realize that its best to think twice about that kinda stuff?

Personally, none of the girls I've fallen for would have been worth it. They all turned out to be bitches. I've been hurt too many times to not be cynical about this, but until I find someone who is worth losing my virginity over, I'll stick to my five faithful digits. No one ever got a STD from masterbating!

Thoughts? Opinions? Am I outta my fucking skull? You tell me.

virginity isn't a crime. and neither is non-virginity.

there are a lot of problems with std's, pregnancy, and a whole mess of other things. that's why it's best to not give a shit what other people think, and do what works for you.

Damn, Kuru. That's pretty much what I was going to say.

Hellraiser, nobody thinks that you're nothing for never knocking boots. The only problem I have is with self-proclaimed virgins... people who put so much of an emphasis on the importance of sex that they intentionally don't have it (or else they use it to rationalize not being able to get any).

Sex is fun, sex is serious. It's not something to be taken lightly, and it's not something to be avoided at all costs. You find a nice girl who you love and you know she's clean and birth control is very closely observed, than all of that stuff isn't quite as big of a deal. You can't lump an experience like that into the same category as going to a bar and picking up some nasty chic with sores on her lip and banging her in the bathroom unprotected.

Sex is a nice thing when you have it, not a huge deal when you don't. I haven't gotten it for over 1.5 years, but I'm not going completely nuts. Far as I remember, it's a fun thing, but I'm not going to go searching for something to bone. I'll find me a nice girl, start a relationship, see what happens. I'm certainly not able to rule out any activities on a moral basis.

Well for me, sex is mythology, never had (except by myself), and probably never will (and not by choice!)

I'm one of those people that are down with whatever someone else is doing, as long as they don't try and push it on me, which leads to my religious, sexual preference, racial, and basic opinion tolerance. That being said, while I'm not a practicing Christian of any kind, I still don't want to have sex until I'm married, or with a chick I'm pretty sure I'm going to married. Don't know why, it's just what works for me. I'm 15, and while yeah, I'd like to have sex all the time, it seems with something as potentially dangerous as sex, a certain amount of discipline should be present...no, not like fetishhotel.com, but I mean like, to me, I'm much more into the idea of making love, than having just sex. It seems to me that it would just be better if you cared about the person. Shit, I haven't even kissed a chick before, but that doesn't matter to me. Everything can be made special in its own way, and while it wasn't my intent to make sex and stuff a big deal for myself in the first place, that's just what it is...not a big deal! So what's the rush? I figure if you marry a chick that's a virgin and you're both committed, you can have all the sex you want...blast it, I dunno. That's pretty much it, except for, yeah, I think I'm staying a virgin until I get married or know 'she's the one.'

Virginity is only considered a crime by all of the morons who swallow the entertainment industry's opinions whole. Consider this--most movies and TV shows out there portray sex as something that should be done with someone as soon as possible, and only lam0r geeks and hopeless trolls don't get any.

Actually, I'd kinda like to modify that statment: Sex is fun, the decision to have sex is serious, and the act of having sex is downright hilarious. I mean, yes it's meaningful and pleasurable and draws you and your partner closer (at least, the good sex does), but it's also a riot. My wife and I always laugh when we're doin' it, and we always have a great time. So while you are engaging in your well-thought-out, protected Act of Love, don't forget to have a little fun.

Or, to drag this beast back on topic, never ever be ashamed of your virginity. My wife and I were virgins until our wedding night, and one of the biggest benefits is that I can honestly tell her that she is the best sex that I've ever had. There may be better out there, but I enjoy it and in this case, ignorance truly is bliss.

Take care of yourself, and do what's right for YOU.

no one can tell you what you can and cant do. except the law, if its illegal.
all you have to do is think it through. are you ready? you know the risks? you have protection? and most of all, is it worth it?

hellraiser is right! no one ever got an STD from masturbating. do this till your married. then go for the real thing.

Yes! That's exactly my theory behind it....I figure neither of us would be like, "Well...you are the best, except for..." yeah, I know I'm only 15, just thinking ahead and shit.

Who cares if she's the best you've ever been with, or there was somebody better... She better damn well be the best one you're with right now.

i don't compare 'em. ever. well, ok. except the 3" dick guy, but he deserves it for reasons of being an immeasurable asshole.

what i'm trying to say here is, while my sexual history is definitely a plural list, i don't rank them in any sort of order. i remember their names, though a couple of the faces aren't as clear as they used to be. and when the next guy comes along that i'm in a relationship with, i'm gonna have wild, passionate sex with him till he cries tears of ecstasy.

so um, the guy i'm with at any present moment, in a relationship, is number one in the world, and the only one in my mind at all.

i'm not having the easiest time putting this into words, but i guess what i'm sayin is that if i'm in a relationship with someone, obviously he's more special than anybody else. i wish i could say that there'd only ever be one of those, but i've found that life doesn't work that way. everything, even the best things, can end. and when those ends come, i file away all the good memories and wait for the next mr. right, right-now to come along.
