ok heres the deal - me and my gf were talking today about her school ball and then she tells me that another guy friend has asked her to his school ball and that she's going. i don't really like the idea of this, but i don't think i could tell her. am i just being petty or do i have a right to be jealous/angry/concerned? whats even worse is that shes going out with this guy, one of his mates, and one of her mates tomorrow for lunch or something. any ideas?

eh coming from the reverse point of view, my prom date had a b/f that went to another school. however, he was a total fucknugget that abused her and i was always the shoulder to cry on. anyway, if you aren't a fucknugget, and you aren't blowing things out of proportion* then she probably doesn't want to go out with you anymore but just doesn't have the nerve to tell you.

*note: you may be blowing things out of proportion, the other guy might just be a genuine friend. however, it was still rude of her to take priority of a friend over you.
