lucky you!!! whatever you do... don't lie to your parents. they'll find out sooner or later, and then they won't trust you again on anything for quite some time - and you'll be in real trouble. better try the I-am-honest-and-mature-so-you-can-let-me-go method, it'll work better... just stress the fact that she is an OLD friend.

thanks guys. My friend suggested that I act liek they treat me..as a child..and have her rents call me rents and discuss al the details. You know how rents are when they are cornerd(asking them to do something when the friend is over). Hopefully this will work. And if all else fails i mihgt ask them to drive me up there...haha

That depends on where you live. When I lived in Indiana you had to wait 60 days after you got your license before you could transport people under 21 without someone who was in the car. I don't think Illinois has any sort of law like that. Maybe California isn't as nice as it seems...

Alright here's my situation... About two days ago an old friend of mine, who moved to wisconsin a year ago, invites to me spend spring break at her house with her in wisconsin. i'm in ohio btw. I'm thinking this is one of the coolest things that has happend to me in a while.. so i need your help/opinions on how to convince my parents to let me(a 16 year old guy) drive up to wisconsin to stay with a 15 year old chick for a week. This can only be a good thing..a week with a hot chick with very little parental supervision..thanks alot.

Welcome to the party.

There's something funny about 'spring break in wisconsin' I've lived there.

I think you're gonna have a hell of a time getting this one by the 'rents without using some lies. However, the fact that you need to lie to them should be indication that you need to rethink this. It sounds like a fun time, and I'd love to spend the week with a 15 year old (*cough* kidding!), but something's up here. Plus, the parents aren't gonna let you go hundreds of miles away to get your freak on. Don't know, dude. Maybe i'm thinking too much like a parent.
