it was like some thing that could look through walls and you could see people's monitors. maybe that wasn't here. maybe...
anybody have a freakin clue what i'm talking about?

Cathode ray tubes give off a low frequency EM radiation (named Van-Eck radiation). This radiation is not attenuated to the same degree as visible light by most building materials, so can probably be recieved from outside the residence.

I don't know the URL of where you could get a device to "view" van-eck radiation...
