I want to know what the masses think is the best 1st person shooters. And if its a small unknown game put it too, im curious. It is my assumtion that everyone love halflife the most. My Favorite is Starseige Tribes.

In recent history, Half Life, System Shock 2, and Soldier of Fortune are the only one's I've really liked. UT/Q3 were nice, but got boring very, very quick.

There are a bunch of good looking ones that should be released in a couple of months from now, though.

Quake3 Arena for sure... the game out of the box isn't THAT great, but its the mods that make the game.

I play WFA, the alpha, but the beta will be out tomorrow, which will own hardcore.
