I recently quit my job at Circuit City (never work at one) and now i'm done with High School. I thought i'd be flip out happy, but...like, 5 minutes after my last bell of my last period rang, I just stopped and said "What now?" That was Tuesday. I still haven't figured it out yet. So what's everyone's opinion on what's next?

you have a few choices.

go to college (aka - Old people babysitting soon to be old people)
get a "real" job (aka - sit behind a desk pushing papers and owning a gun wondering at night why it isn't against your temple)
become a crackhead (aka - ... uhhh... dude...)
all of the above (aka - go to college, find a job that isn't half bad for a college kid, become a halfway addict to some drug/herb/fungi (aka - cr0bar))

college is cool. it's not a bit like high school :

- you can actually learn things in college.

- getting drunk and/or high is not a mortal sin. It's expected.

- staying up too late at night partying, and then missing class the next day is No Big Deal.

- Girls that put out are no longer "sluts." They're the Future of Our Country.

- Your professors will drink beer with you, as long as you're 21.

my buddy Jon (who is also a senior) works at Circuit City. he says its not so bad as long as you work in a good department. you get paid commission. fuck that.
although 2 weeks ago he averaged a พ/hour salary. and he works a 20+ hour week.

I know a guy who consistently had the highest sales at his store.

His secret? He noticed that all the other sales staff worked the floor, and were pretty slimy (i.e. they wouldn't help people that didn't look like they would spend Big Money). No one ever answered the phones, though. So he did, and he'd help everyone, and ask them to ask for him when they came in the store. He'd help people find a ŭ cable if they wanted one... it didn't take long for people to catch on that if you went into the store and waited, you wouldn't get much help, but if you asked for Rich you would.

He outsold everyone else by at least 25\%.
