Good news, at least for those of us who hate Dubya Bush : Jeffords leaves GOP, blames Bush.

This means that we now have a Democratic senate. No more of this one-party rule bullshit.

lol i found this on Sinfest:

"Bubba has left the building: Sex, drugs, and rock & roll is officially out of the White House.
Gone are the days of wine and doobies, when a boy named Bill ruled the Beltway, when his "wife" frantically shredded documents in the next room while a chunky intern did unspeakable things with the aforementioned doobie.
Gone are the Aww-Shucks-Golly-Gee-Whiz speechifying, the late night Oval Office booty calls, and all the fast food take-out you can eat.
Ah, we sure had fun, didn't we? In fact, the nation was so determined to keep the party going it failed to turn up a new leader--until the Men in Black Robes settled it behind closed doors.
So now we move on. Good-bye Slick Willy; Hello Clueless George.

considering how G.W. has no brains, and his presidency is pretty much run through his advisors, id say we have a major problem....wait, which other president was like that? oh yeah, harding, THE WORST PRESIDENT THE US EVER HAD. and i like that democrats now control the better half of the senate.

democrats....republicans..

the only difference is how they go about collecting and covering up the money from big business.

four years from now, good things will have happened. bad things will have happened. some people will get richer, some will get poorer. some will remain most exactly where they are.

the only difference made by the guy sitting in the white house is who jay leno tells jokes about.

hopefully, this time, it'll just be intelligence jokes and not another four years about the president using an intern as a humidor while he was supposedly doing official business.

*edit: fixed typo.

Although I am not to fond of mainstream politicians it is good that the senate is under democratic control, it will be even better when the house goes under democratic control in 2002(Prediction). We have to balance the conservatives with the liberals it's the only way to insure that the extreme left or right will not have control. What is scary is as many as 3 new conservative Supreme Court justices. Say good-bye to Roe v. Wade and Protection from unnecessary police searches.

That's probably the happiest thing about the Demos having control of the Senate. They won't approve right-wing losers.
