BTW: How high did you jump from?
I can't make out the ground clearly enough to tell, but judging from the clouds I'd say around 10,000 ASL?

and no, it was definately NOT a perfectly good plane. You can't get much more ghetto then a cessna 182 with NO DOORS. I was hanging out of the side of the plane the whole way up. More pics:

actually you can do over 15,000. the air may be thin, but you are only up there for 10-20 seconds.

btw that wasn't even an airport. it was just a random landing strip, that was being paved while we were doing the jumps. the plane had to dodge the dumptrucks during landing

and I'd really like to see ANY general aviation plane climb from 10,000 up to 15,000 and back down in under 20 seconds. Hell, most hit ceiling at ~13,000 anyway. And even if they did, they'd be breaking the law once they passed 13k. Your only allowed half an hour without O2 between 10k and 13k. Above 13k its required for ANY length of time.
