I am actually going to pose this as a question. I know 3/4 of you will come running in calling me a n00b, but I have actually read these forums for a great deal longer than I have participated. I also used to write under a different name (tail end of last year) and...things have changed a lot around here.

Anyways, I guess a lot of other people have noticed that as well. Lately there's been all this complaining, and now there's this new forum forit. My personal opinion is that making a new forum like that is sort of avoiding the problem...I mean, why not just fix the regular forum? As you may realize, that's sort of hard to do with all the retards running around.

So here's what I see: people whining about crap that's posted, but no one saying anything to the people posting it! A prime example would be CatKnight. He posts about 5 topics a day, and once a week there's one I'm inspired to post on. It's usually something about how he's going to leave, but later says he's coming back. At any rate...I digress. The bottom line is that people are always whining, but permitting entire threads (not just comments) like this to be started:

hehe that cracks me up. it goes on for like 3 minutes in the background while they are talking.

What the hell! If you're going to complain and ask for a "seniors only" forum, why don't you just start a "senseless drivel" forum and make people post this crap there! If you're thinking of saying that'd be too much upkeep on the forums, I know there are a few trustworthy moderators around here, like PG.

Just my two cents.

This thread is just another example of everyone bitching. The only way to be happy and have good discussions which are meaningful is to HAVE THEM. Don't complain that someone else hasn't started them. Get off your lazy ass and do it yourself. problem solved. It just takes the initiative to do it.
Why don't we all make a deal to put forth some intelligent thought and each of us come up with a new discussion topic? A GOOD discussion topic, and no flaming. Just as an exercise in remembering how to behave and converse in an adult mannner. Sex can be brought up if done so in a mature, non-childish, and responsible manner. As well as with all other subjects. Just be adults when you form your thoughts and reread what you write to make sure you're keeping with the adult-thinking theme.
Does that sound even feasible to anyone?

Feedback if you don't mind?
I feel a bit strange throwing this out but it's a suggestion.
