IF you have seen this video you know what I am talking about, if you haven't seen it watch it. It is according to the news media extremely offensive and might be illegal, even I had a hard time sitting though it. As far as I am concerned stile is correct, we in the west are hypocrites we can butcher cattle like there is no tomorrow and we feel nothing but when a cat has the same done we feel outraged and sick. Now I know how the Hindu’s feel.

OMG! That I couldn't watch the video because I am a cat lover! I have two cats and I can't imagine eating them. I do understand that people do eat them but I don't think its right. They are pets for godsake!

A cow has a lot of meat. You kill a cow it'll go rotten in a couple of days before you've had a chance to eat any great amount of the meat. A lot of wastage which isn't what you want if you're struggling to find food to live on. Now a small animal, say a cat, can feed someone for a couple of days and be finished before it goes off. No wastage.

All energy in food comes from biomass of plant life.. You eat vegetables, you have a lot of mass to eat per unit energy but the best efficiency. You eat a low-level consumer (cow) you get less efficiency as the cow uses some of that energy itself but you have a very reasonable amount of mass to eat to get the energy you need.

A cow has a lot of energy per unit mass of it you eat, and therefore you waste a lot if you kill one and can only eat 1/8 of it before it goes putrid and gets maggot infested.

A cat is a more logical thing to eat if you're starving.

Not many people starv over here, so Cows are a more efficient food source. We carve that baby up, ship it the Gorcery Stories, buy it, and it it all with in a matter of days. Freezing also does wonders to preserve meat. I bet cows taste much better than cats (carnivores don't taste nearly as good). Cats make good house pets, why eat them? Cows make horrible house pets, and their hide can be used to make thousands of different items. Cows eat leafy foods, which are in wide supply. Cats eat meat, which is more expensive. The list goes on and on on why cows are better food sources than cats, especially in the US.

Eat more cow!

plus u cant get dairy products from cats

but i really couldnt care if some country wants to eat cats. problem is cats that are breed to eat are mostly today more of a delecacy rather than a main food source. plus because of the lack of respect for them they are locked up in very small cages without room to breathe let alone move. most die in transit to the markets and those that do survive usually die of exposure form the heat. a cow? well a cow can get its freak on with the local bull if she wants and still have time to scare wandering hikers into vaulting over barbed wire fences by chasing them. eating cats is sick cos of the animal rights abuse not cos of the fact that people eat them
