have you ever wondered if your name stays on the who's online list after you close your browser or go to another site? it's like trying to figure out if the refridgerator light goes off when you close the door!

uhm, NO. YUO LOSE. theres a thing called a session... and a session TIMEOUT. so you stay on the list for oh, five seconds after you load a page. each time you load a page the session becomes active again, it knows where you are, and it will continue showing your name until you are inactive for 5 minutes or whatever its set for.

duh the fridge light goes off. you can push the lever while the door is open. just like your brain when you post a reply apparantly.
