actually i take that back. this is liberal media bullshit that reads just like a fictional novel. notice how they boldface the word REPORT just to make sure ignoramouses aren't confused. i, however, am not confused. there are very few facts and direct quotes, and a lot of conjecture and fictional writing skills used to make it seem more dramatic. i hate this kind of shit. if you really want examples i'll post them.

I urge all of you to visit that link and read the full report contained therein. Trust me, it is well worth the read. It will enlighten you to the truth of the corruption of current Judical System and the real life power held by giant corporations.

i don't care if this is an actual event or truly fictional or whatever. the point is that it is extremely one-sided, and is bad journalism. they don't give very many facts regarding the details, and the ones they do give are totally in one sides favor. for all i know, coke and that so-called "mafia-bitch" (another instance of very bad journalism) were perfectly in the right, and the guy made a big mistake or was insane. this "article" is more suited for the enquirer then...wait where was this article? guerilla news? wtf?

I don't understand how any of you can bitch at CatKnight's post. It looks to me that he's just trying to get ALL the facts before making a comment, and personally, I don't think that's a BAD thing. You should always look at both sides of the story.

Also, referring to a company/person as a "mafia-bitch" IS bad journalism.

thank you very very much tonydennis you hit the nail right on head.

as for summing up the story, this guy kolody thought up an advertisement to use old cars and a picture of the old style coke bottle on the new cans for classic coke. the ad company took his idea, said they weren't going to use it, then they used it and snuffed him. it turns out though that kolody got a copyright on the old coke bottle picture in 1989 right when it expired. coke tried to coverup by getting a new copyright in 1993. one of the parties has a fradulent copyright, but i don't know who. kolodoy tried to take them to court, but the judge immidiately dismissed the case. also, he had to find some lawyer with poor credentials because no one else would take his case. basically if coke looses, then they will loose billions because all of the bottling companies pay fees to print the coke image on the bottles, when kolody actually owns the copyright (apparantly).

That never happens in journalism. Especially not in newspaper. Right here in dc we have 2 major papers. The Washington Post and the Washington Times. The post is liberal and the times is conservative. You have people that swear by one or the other. If you were to listen to G Gordon liddy youd swear we only had one newspaper here.
