Today it was around 32 Celsius (it is 2 am I am way too tired to find out your Fahrenheit), and very humid. I had my windows open because the air in my room was so hot and sticky. Soon, a large bug was creeping around on my computer table. By large bug I mean almost an inch long, brownish, terrible, flat, disgusting, 6- or 8-legged being with plans to invade my room and then do things I do not want to know in detail. Now I am usually a rather tolerant person with insects but this was too much. I killed him. Soon afterwards, two other bugs landed dangerously close to my naked feet. Brave fighter I am, I killed them too. Then I had enough and closed the window... If the bugs' intention was to kill me, they are pretty close to reaching their aim. Before long, I will be cooked, or rather, simmered, because of the closed windows in this heat. Does anybody know a way how to get fresh but bugless air?

shit... speaking of bugs, there are 2 crickets hiding somewhere in my basement. they chirp constantly, 24/7. It's driving me crazy. When i try to go find them they hear me and stop chirping and then i can't find the damn things. And you know, crickets are really disgusting, they're big, ugly, and dark and carry parasites and look really gross. So if you wanna come down here and help me get rid of them, O slayer of insects, I would be forever in your debt.
