Ikonboard and phpBB use 2 different encryption algorithms for passwords. So it's quite possible that when the new site goes live, that you may need to reset your password.
So just make sure the email address you have listed in your ikonboard account is correct, and if necessary you'll be able to use the Lost Password feature on the new site.

will the detnet webmail still be accessable from the new site? cause that's the email address the 'lost password' feature will be mailing to for me.
