from what i know ZEE is purely american thing. i might be wrong, but being taught some english in russian (ukrain to be exact, but close enough) and then lliving in canada for 5 years now i can definately tall you it's not used in canada or some of europe. not sure about brittain and other europian countries. i still think it's one of those american things.

There isn't an option for BOTH. I use both zee and zed, it depends on the context and my mood.
But then I also spell theatre with an re instead of er and I spell colour with a "u" damnit...
