Just had one last night. The ground rolled for about 20 seconds. All you non-Cali types would've been flipping out... we woulda had to knock you unconscious
Earthquakes kick ass!

Tot. I felt it last night. On the 2nd floor over here, my pad swooshed a bit. Oh, and it made the dog flip out. Not in a bad way. A hella cute way. She ran about full throttle. lol

Haven't been in an earthquake yet. Have survived some tornados and a few hurricanes. Give it time.

I've been in two earthquakes, both here in the Pacific Northwest.
The first, I woke up...heard my aunt and uncle's cats fighting and assumed it was their fault the house was shaking and went back to sleep (that one was only a 3 or so and it was a good 1/2hour away).
The second, I was walking from one academic building to another and felt the overwhelming desire to lie down on the ground. Then I walked into the other building and was promptly told to get back out because we'd just had an earthquake. That one was somewhere between 6 and 7 and was about 20mins away. People from the Netherlands were calling to make sure I was ok and I couldn't even get ahold of my parents in Idaho (my mom was freaking out).
