Well, I figure the classroom is the appropriate area to post this one..

I'm on the final stretch - I have 2 papers, 2 finals and my thesis to finish in the next week and a half. Graduation is May 19th.

Then what?  The number of people who have asked me where I'm going from here is too high to count. I'm getting sick of them asking - however... I'm curious where other people went from here, or where they think they'll go. Careers, mindless jobs, a long nap (which is my top choice right now), etc... What happens after you get the little piece of paper that says you have a Bachelors Degree?

"There is only one thing to do.  Drink heavily!"

Then go take a nap.

The world will still be there when your done.

Question is, what does this piece of paper say you can do?

In my case, I went for a little piece of paper that says you have a Master's Degree.

My dream in life is to make enough money to go back to school and start the most ass kickingest frat the world has ever seen  ....then when they try to kick me out I'll donate a huge sum of money to the school and they will end up naming a wing after me.   ...it would be like Back to School meets Van Wilder.  Until then I work  ...because that's what you're supposed to do when you're not in school.  :(

Kuru, wasn't there some kinda guidence person that discussed with you why you were getting your degree?  I seems to me that you would go after a degree based upon the work you wanted to do ...not try to find a job with the degree you got after the fact.  Maybe that's just my warped logic.  Anyways, congrats on your success!!

yes, but I do this anyway...and get paid for it...I didn't need a degree for that!

I am considering going back for my masters and maybe even PhD but I'm taking some time off - if somehow I get my acting and writing career moving in the time off then I won't go back.  But I already have my top 5 schools picked out to apply to for next year.
