Eeeeeeeeeeeeek! Okay maybe I'm just having a bad day... and in turn I may end up articulating what I want to incorrectly:
When everything becomes really predictable and every post you read is pretty much what you expected to see posted... browsing a forum becomes a living hell.
When you get really annoyed by people who get their kicks by trying to get the attention of others by being obnoxious and making stupid posts *ahem*biped*ahem*... browsing a forum becomes a living hell.
I'm not above it all... but I feel like I can't find a good forum where everyone has good discussions instead of biased, heated arguements.
I don't know why I'm going to click the post button, maybe it just really is a bad day.
I observed one of my better friends and I've realized that he doesn't participate or try to express his opinion in front of people who obviously will not try to understand him. I should develop a habit like that... I want to leave. I think I'll leave. I know you guys won't care, I figure editor will feel obligated to say sayonara.. and then some of you will just post whatever is on your mind.. and only sometimes that's a good thing.. I don't know.. I'm just rambling..
I think I'm leaving. I'm not sure.
A lot of you guys are really kickass people...

Good idea...
...
Any seniors want to come over to my place? I got pretty IB boards, T3, server that's been up (::checks::) 118 days If any of you think this is a good idea I got contacts down at the bottom of this post here.
Personally I've never posted that much... just... pop in and drop an opinion, joke, or something that might add to the conversation here and there.
Sold: I'd miss reading you man BTW, anyone else noticed how strange a day it was? Maybe it was the full moon, but I've been weird and disoriented all day.

Just resurrect the Senior Lounge. Is there something preventing us from doing that?

the senior lounge was formed because the older detvets didn't want to deal with the new generation of people coming in anymore. so they pretty much forced cr0 to make them their own forum and give only a select few the password to it. for some reason or other ed seems to be against this idea.

The Senior Lounge was formed so that the older detvets could have serious conversations unto themselves without troll idiots showing up to 'hit and run' with some innane comment.
Certain members were allowed access to it, which was verified by their login ID and password. It's not like the Lounge had one password and only 'some of us' knew it.
We were there because we were invited, and it was nice to have good conversations for once without a bunch of idiots showing up to post nothing but drivel.

It wasn't done just by 'if you've been here a while'.
IIRC, 12 of us were selected right off the bat. Everyone else who got in was nominated by one of the original 12, and admitted if there were no objections.
