not sure if it's just me, but this morning i wasn't able to get on detnet
then all of a sudden i was able to get not, not only that everything started loading a lot faster, even ikonboard.
my guess is either detnet moved to a new server or the old server was upgraded
am i the only one noticing this?

I thought another upgrade happened a couple days ago...
The webhost says that geographical proximity can account for some speed, and I'm only 5 miles away...so I don't know if you see the same speed I do. Especially on dialups or in England, etc. Sounds like you caught him doing something, alright, and I'm glad to see you notice the increase. Last night I was noticing that this board was just as fast as MS's, and it's also hosting all the parodies and stuff. I did ask for the Taliban video to be pulled as it used a lot of bandwidth and was getting old! ---wheee---

Oh man this is sweet, I don't have to be online half as long now because it's so shit quick, beautiful friend. Opera used to tell me it was loading at 800bps at the most now it's hitting more like 11Mbs... It's beautiful just plain sexy I'm in England so you get the basic jist of what it's like here.
Love it, fantastic.

anyways, I was telling my friend about Jimi's post at the coffee shop, and I said, "and then he said it jumped to 11mb!" uh, just a sec, Jimi, what sort of connection is that?

Yeah, my bad I didn't mean Megs, I meant Kbps. It seems to have settled at a steady 6Kbps now though, depending on when I go on. It ranges from 5kbps to 10ish kbps
Funny you should say that actually because just last week I sold your mum for a geforce 4
