I haven't been to detonate.net in a week or two and what terrible horrors do I discover? That's right. That man who I would have once proclaimed to be my hero (yes, I'm a sad person, but you'd know that if you read my posts) has gone the way of George Lucas and Metallica. He's sold out. Matrix second edition? Bah. Sell out city man. Not that it's bad, just that it was a bad idea. -Ray

It's just a figure of speech cr0...I'm with BM_Ray still. A a few months back, when bastardization production was on it's highest, I loved coming to detnet. Now I just enter to see if something exiting is going on on the BBS (it shouldn't be called that). Usualy the first thing I did was sweep the place for links and bastardization updates, and then check the board (news comments at that time). Now we'll get an update every other day if we are lucky, but it only updates something allready done once. Sure it'll get better, but it was nearly perfect already. And some things just doesn't have to be perfect. They just have to be fun, and contain relevant material of the time it was created. Now it's just some mixed time wannabe-perfect bastardization, that I don't really need. I've even seen half of it once. Let me point out that I'm not complainting or demanding to get quality stuff from you. I think your work on this has been amazing. I'm just telling what I think of this "new way of detnet", and if you have another oppinion it's fine with me. But if Matrix SE all you've got left, cr0, I'd say that you have sold out. Then it's back out selecting my source of fun again, as wondering wether to buy a box of Kodak or Pioneer cds. None of them really stands out above the other. I told you IF (really important word here) the SE is all you've got left, you've sold out...I know it's hard moving, and I can surely wait for you to get "back on your feet" to produce some good stuff ...but the content on detnet in the moment is not as hi quality that it used to be. I'm hoping it's just a phase Plz...don't misunderstand me on this. I liked detnet from the first moment I saw it, and I still like it. It's just that while you are busy doing other stuff, only little new stuff comes to detnet, and that's a damn shame. And you are still the hero...you've build a whole little detnet society, and the "true believers" will always stay and look for updates. It's just not that intence at the moment, that you just have to go to the page every other minute...and remember to click refresh before leaving, hehe Another oppinion...the site has grown too big. That's why so few new people comes to visit. People don't know where to start. Look at this messageboard with thousands of posts for instance. I check the page almost everyday, and even I can't keep up anymore. Most of the posts is not just standard posts like "Hey, I'm cool and I know where to get warez", but deep intellectual discussions about topics going from napster to evolution to t-shirts. New people are lost here. But detnet is still my favorite, and I look forward to see the next action from you...perhaps we should hire some company to screw with you to get things going. What was the mail-add to safeaudit?
