I was at the Dave Matthews Band concert on June 9th at RFK Stadium. It was a blast. I had shitty seats but a massive group of people bum-rushed security so we were able to get on the field. We got within about 20 rows of the stage.

The best concert I've been to was Offspring in Frankfurt, Germany. They didn't really have any good rules about stage diving and getting near the stage. So, it was basically in this Middle School Gymnasium with a stage 3 feet off the ground with no barrier between it and the kids. So many people were getting up there and diving, it was amazing. It got so out of hand that the warm up band had to stop and ask people to get off the stage. THE DAMN WARMUP BAND!

Anyway, concert ruled. Some big sweaty dude stage dived right on top of me. I moshed like a madman. It was right after their first album, so they definitely still rocked.

Other than that concert, been to Weird Al, Barenaked Ladies, and 2 Lillith Faires... and others that I don't remember.

Kickass I saw Tool at Ozzfest 99, that was the best Ozzfest yet! TOol, Primus, Slipknot, Motorhead, Megadeth, Rob Zombie, etc. I almost bought tickets to this summers until I found out that LInkin Park, Crazy Town, and Papa Roach were going to be there. No thanks, Im not to into those Limp Bizkit rock/rap clones. I heard a rumor that Ozzys son got to pick the bands too so thats where Papa and the other 2 came from. I was going to try to see Fear Factory but they skipped over D.C. and went straight to Penn....

Is this something that's happening in/near Seattle this summer? Are there still tickets available?

It's in Bremerton at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds on August 4th. Go here for tickets & details.

I also forgot to mention The Crystal Method, Kioki, The Living End, Spies For Darwin (local band), Idlewild, and Slantooth.
