I'm tempted to put in my school address and see what happens, unless someone knows what they are about so I don't have to go through the trouble of getting spammed...

I'm sure it's legit. Most business models include giving products and services away for free to everybody over the internet. I heard there is a new car that is free because they plan on getting their money back with the gas and oil you will need to buy over the next few years. Oh yeah, I got this bridge I want to sell you too.

Heh...get a free cell fone and pay the monthly fees...and chances are the cell fone'll be on rent and not even yours. It's not that uncommon for advertisers...

didn't pay for my fone either - just a contract with 12 month minimum term.
the probable deal here is a phone locked to a particular network, and an offer of contracts.

I got a free fone, but the deal was I had to have a year contract with a certain company and if I broke that contract I would have to pay for the fone and the rest of the year.
