I just finished watching SE7EN. I don't think I understand Sloth. WTF did Sloth do and WTF did John Doe do?

Oh and how does Greed hurt himself with greed? The 1 pound of flesh seems like a non-squidor compaired to the other murders, right?

And I may be wrong, but isn't Lust more greedy than lusty? She's just doing a job. It's the guys she's with who are REALLY the lusty ones, right?

Pride: He cut off her nose AFTER she ODed, right?

Oh, and was Along Came A Spider any good?

The one pound of flesh (i.e. the heart) has got more of a symbolic meaning in the film. It is actually an old idea employed by good old Shakespeare in his "Merchant of Venice".

Pride - I think he cut it off before, and then gave her the choice to call for help and survive in total ugliness, or OD and die, and she chose the letter.

I realize I don't remember all of that movie... time to watch it again!

I played the advanced version of that game jiggyfresh, it was called MathMucher or something, but it was that program. IT RULLED!!

...Anyways sloth is lazyness. I've been doing the seven deadly sins in English all year, so if you want I could write you an essay on the subject.

Hrm... my imprssion was this: "Call for help and while they're on their way I'll cut off your nose, OR take the pills and die." Then AFTER she died he cut off her nose ANYWAY. But I may be wrong...

I just finished watching this movie. Like PG, I was unsure of why the "Sloth" victim was excessively lazy. True, he was bound to a bed for a year so he couldn't move, but that wasn't something the victim brought about on his own.

As for pride, LiNeY had the right idea. Doe cut off her nose, then gave her the choice: Live and be disfigured, or kill yourself and not have to live with the shame.

Maybe once I calm down some more I'll watch that sloth scene again.

Anywaze... on ICQ, Observer said that it was mentioned that Sloth is a client of Greed. Does anyone know if that connection has to do with anything? I'm going to watch it again later tonight...
