quote: Originally posted by The Washington Post: AUSTIN, Texas -- President Bush’s 19-year-old daughter Jenna attempted to buy alcohol with an identification card that belonged to someone else, police said Wednesday. Police were called to a Mexican restaurant in the city on Tuesday evening after Jenna Bush tried to buy alcohol with a valid identification card that was not her own, Austin police spokeswoman Laura Albrecht said. No further details were immediately available, but Albrecht said police were preparing to release a statement. The legal drinking age in Texas is 21. Bush, a freshman at the University of Texas in Austin, pleaded no contest earlier this month to a charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol after police found her drinking beer in an Austin bar. She was ordered to perform eight hours of community service and take an alcohol awareness course. Jenna Bush has a twin sister, Barbara, who attends Yale University.

did you note how it comes off like gaby thought ariel won because she was white? gaby was in tears because of that. did you note the part where it talks about nick and his friuends havng an average of 20 dollars? nick had 200. there were 4 people. if the rest of them had 0, they would have an average of 50. besides that, the shit she says isnt true. white people, black people, latinos, they all hang out together. she may not have seen it in the what, 3 hours she was there? and the thing about creek night. it comes off like these people have no non white friends. not true. and besides. a racist is someone who will discriminate, or choose based on race. she says basically, that they dont hang out with latinos because they are not white. that is saying that we are racists. and its not even fucking true. maybe i dont have 100 latino friends, but i have a shitload of non white friends, and i hang out with them. there are a lot of people at our school who are now under the impression that beth is a racist. DID YOU READ THE ARTICLE?? it compared them all to dawson on dawsons creek, and gave of the impression that they wanted to be like dawson or something. there is exactly one person at creek night who actually likes the show. the part about throwing stuff at the tv? thats andrew trying to turn that shit off. the first two articles are really offensive, and full of mistakes and mistruths. the third article is good, and the kind of stuff one would hope is printed all the time. plus, she makes it out to be the white kids fault for not finding lots of latinos to be friends with. like we are the only ones who can take initiative. and for the record, i can tell you that most of the people in these articles dont see people in terms of race, because we go to such a diverse school. until this shit article was written, i never really thought about it, and neither do a lot of the whites who supposedly dont hang out with non whites.a few facts in the article that are wrong: she made up that scene at our homecoming. no one was across any field. they werent really even on the field, they were on the sidelines. all that stuff she said is just made up to enhance the whole thing. a black person runs our yearbook. our football team is not even half white. our basketball team has exactly 3 white players on it. latinos take up about a third of the sections at the football games, and they supply a shitload of spirit. ive never heard a single person refer to early release as "half-day, half-play" something she made up. like i said, nick had 200 dollars. the way she quotes beth, plays her off as not wanting latinos to be there. that quote from kyle is wrong. ive done it, they dont like kick my ass or anything. steve atlas wants there to be problems where they are nonexistant. this kids who cant afford nice clothes or nice cars? theres a guy at our school, rajiv, he has the most decked out avalon ever, he wears nice as fuck clothes. lots of the minorites drive way better cars than the white kids, a lot wear better clothes, so thats not an issue. the thing about the improvement of latino involvement in the social anthropology class. the class didnt exist until this year. milady was completely misquoted. she said that herself. that was not what she meant at all. caroline is not in that class because she likes the diversity. shes in the class cause shes not too bright and couldnt hang out with all her other friends in the ib classes. my friend romel, who is a latino, said that ms leeb told him not to take ib classes. if she can make up all this stuff, that i can pick out with a quick glance, who knows what else she made up? the point is this story blows.

with the same idea in mind, it always pissed me off, when i see an "anti-racism" movie, or somethign like that. for example "finding forrester".. which is about this black kid.. who walks around claiming that everyone is racist.
and it PISSES me off!.. i don't know about you guys, but i grew up in 2 different very hick towns. yet i never saww a very racist enviroment. my personal belief, is that over half the "problems" with racism we have in this country are because hollywood TELLS us that we are racist. they keep promoting racism through movies and especially music. but i personally don't see the racism around where i live.. (carolinas.. both of them ). does anyone get what im saying. (i may not ahve articulated it as well as i would ahve hoped.) or does anyone agree?

dont believe anything the washington post says. they say all white people at my school are racists. i dont have the link offhand, but the first 2 articles in a series of 3 by some bitch named emily wax is basically all about how white people at my school (washington-lee high school) are racist because there isnt a 100\% accurate ratio of the schools population hanging out together. she thinks that everyone should have 37 spanish friends, 35 white friends, 15 black friends, and 14 black friends. but we dont. so we're racists. but its not our fault. what a load of shit. all those people in her articles were misquoted, and she portrayed what they wanted to say incorrectly. ive talked to all of them. id find it wise to assume that anything you read in the post is the exact opposite of the truth.

yes, i agree. like how steve atlas wants there to be a problem where there isnt one. so he spouts shit about how we need to try and get along better, when i suspect its just him with no nonwhite friends.
