playnet, the company we all host with, started using them recently. or they want to start using them. a lot of playnet sites might start to feature them.

I am not sure which ads you are talking about. All pop-up ads are annoying and pointless since no one ever reads them, but these sound extra annoying; do you have a site that you know has them?

I understand, but it's weird... because it's a mix of javascript and Flash or something... at least the one I saw. I saw it on wb11.com I think... it was like a transparent Flash ad. Numbers were falling from the top of the screen. It was weird.

they have to run an activex script to work, make you browser prompt you before running activex scripts or better yet disable them and no more annoying floatting ads.
