Well j00 sux0rz. I've been using XP RC2 for weeks and it rocks. I've got RTM Corporate sitting on my desk waiting to be installed but i dont think ill bother cos this is stable enough and im of the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' school of thought.*

*except in linux where i love to mess with everything

I had to go back to Win2K on my laptop because I need to use Rational software... which doesn't want to install under XP. I hope they release a new version sometime around the official release.

If you get XP for nothing else, WMP8 kicks so much ass. Especially on DVDs at fullscreen. You'd have to see to know why.

I'll probably get XP running on my desktop tonight if I can get my server running correctly. :P

incubus, you don't know how right you are. Using the RC2 was a godsend to what I have now.. I went through a path of, format-winME(ugh)-winXPDELL(product activation, and only semi-burner support).
I've also gotten the corporate iso, but every damn time I tried to burn it in winME.. it didn't work. Now Easy CD Creator won't even load in winXP Dell, so I cannot burn the iso for corporate. Does anyone know of a way I can burn this iso and get rid of this hell.. but then again.. winXP Dell is very stable... other then the part that it doesn't support Easy CD.

that bites about not being able to burn corp onto a cd to use it :-(

i installed xp corp at home. The only thing i really really enjoyed (over 2509) was the no product activation on it.

i've been using xp since the beginning of august.

I used XP RC2 for about a week, then discovered it wouldnt play my MOV porno movies through Apple Quicktime unless i rebooted every hour! Back to 2000 I went too. Ill wait until about next spring to buy/get XP. We are getting it at my work here in a few weeks, hopefully it will hold up on our Dell Optiplex GX1s with 128MB of RAM.

That's a crock.
I'm an avid Linux user, but unless you're allergic to games saying 'screw windows' is just plain dumb.
