Whichever asshole started this thread is a goddamn, fucking asshole. Leon (also presumably known as The Proffesional in the states) is an absolutely fantastic film. Natalie Portman was amazing, Gary Oldman was brilliant and the last action sequence is one of the best in movie history.

Deckard is a fucking replicant to whoever it was that was asking and the Director's Cut makes it subtley clear (I had to avoid saying painfully clear because there's nothing painful about that movie, it's superduper). He dreams of the unicorn when he's at his piano in the second half of the film, I think. Anyway, he is, he is, he is, he is.

Best films:
Alien/Aliens Terrifying and absorbing, best action, best horror
Blade Runner Fantastic realistation of the future by Scott, Rutgar Hauer came up with one of the best couplets in movie hostiry
Pulp Fiction Intelligent, funny and exciting
Shawshank Redemption A proper feel good movie that just makes you smile
Leon See above
Others that I can't remember

Bad films:
Godzilla Nearly fell asleep\walked out
Batman and Robin Just awful, worse than Forever which is no mean feat
cheers

Not true. This is a point that was intentionally designed to provoke debate.

Perhaps his life is just consumed by tracking, hunting, and falling in love with replicants...to the point where it dominates his mind and begins to take over?
