The impact alone wouldn't bring a tower down.
It was the jet fuel melting the steel after the sprayon fire-retardant was knocked off by the impact.
Animation of the girders collapsing and causing other members to fail...

Yeah, i watched that show last night. I also watched the one on TLC a coupla months ago.....it sucks hearing about all the 'ifs' that they used, if the core wasnt the only spot in the tower with stairs, if he hadn't used drywall for the core, if this, if that, if airplaines hadnt been fucking run itno bulidings they would still be standing. If people on this planet didnt hate each other with a passion, we wouldnt be having this problem!
