Good choice of soundtrack. Bike movies + Bitch smaking = fun. Right?

Yea the soundtrack was well synched.I dunno about smacking your bitch and bike movies going together.. but it was well synched. Posted by Dark Knight Bob on Nov. 14 2001,08:47
that bit with the front wheelie into another bike was fucking class you could just feel the guy seeing his life flash before his eyes.------------------ Posted by Amygdala on Nov. 16 2001,13:59
Bitch-smacking and Bikes...It's all part-and-parcel with the tough guy image... I like the clip of the red one zooming up to 300-plus km...nice bike, too. But one thing still puzzles me: Can someone explain the burnout? I'm pretty sure it's just the front brake, while the back tire is turning...but I still don't get the point... --amy ------------------ Posted by L33T_h4x0r_d00d on Nov. 16 2001,14:23
quote: The power to weight ratio is so high on a bike that depending on where you put your center of gravity you can change what it does. If you lean forward the rear tire will break lose and you can do a rolling burnout, ie the first clip in the vid. If you lean back and center your weight over the rear tire you do a wheelie, ie the second clip in the vid. The front brake is not needed for either. ------------------ This message has been edited by L33T_h4x0r_d00d on November 17, 2001 at 09:41 AM Posted by Dark Knight Bob on Nov. 17 2001,11:59

mph? No way...That was the autobahn, if I'm not mistaken. And if I'm not doubly mistaken, they use metric in Germany... Thanks Leet Hax0r, but that still doesn't explain why they do the burnout so long. Yeah, it's cool to see the smoke, but it wears off after a while, and then I can imagine that it just starts to stink, and you have to buy a new tire...Where's the point in that? --amygdala ------------------ Posted by L33T_h4x0r_d00d on Nov. 18 2001,19:07
quote: Ok if you mean "why they do the burnout so long, its stupid and eats up your tire." Its because they can and usually you do it to finish off a tire your about to change. If you mean "why they do the burnout so long, that looks impossible." Its because these bikes are so damn powerful you can put it in 4th gear and burnout from a standstill. With you leaning foward they have like a 95\%-5\% weight distrobution. If they were to lean back they'd look like some of the people in the other video. ------------------ |
