I'm not familiar with asx files or asf files.
Maybe someone can explian them to me.
I was trying to d/l computer boy (it only lets you stream it, not save it) and I figured out where the file was:

But when I try to save it, it still only saves a asx file...anyone?

Yes it is, when cr0bar originally posted the link to Ifilm, there were requests for a downloadable form of the movie. So there it is.------------------

I know this is an ancient thread but i remember d/l this off the same link and got 100'ish meg of image but no sound. is there anywhere else that has it at all? and if so does it work?------------------

the older versions of quicktime don't show video with that .mov file, get quicktime 4+.------------------

I do realize that, but it's a good movie. And I just found the URL for the ASF version, so I thought I'd post it for people who don't want to have to stream it all the time.------------------

erm why bother dowloading the medium quality version when i posted the high quality one that would only take an extra hour or so on ya bog standard 56k?!?!?what sthe matter my d/l not good enuff for ya? EDIT: i cant fucking spell!!! ------------------

That was Quicktime. Many people prefer ASF for a number of reasons, like real fullscreen display.------------------
