ok, my original coldfusion account got fux0r3d --it wont do anything, everytime i sign in it says 'you can't pass you are not logged in'. i tried to fix it for almost 3 hours, but nothing worked. and i need you to transfer my 802 posts to this account.whether you believe me, or not, i AM the orig CF.
i NEED my 802 posts, i worked hard for em.
i will take any ::test:: to ensure it's me.

You need to tame down there, son. There's something going on here, and somehow you're involved. You DID NOT jump from 40 or so posts to 800 in a matter of 2 days. How do you explain that? If you didn't do anything wrong, it'll all be cleared up soon. If you did, it would be best to just come out and admit it now.

there is no reverse DNS on his IP. He's hiding behind something.the webhost has been asked to block you at the firewall.

ok, ok. i just constantly put out a post too increase my 'ammount of posts' and then i delete them one by one and flood protection is only 25 seconds, so every 25 seconds i would do that.hope yur satisfied

I say a swift kick in the nuts then block him totally .. that should fix things...its totally stupid to raise your post count like that to try and be kewl .... that was totally stupid ... geez and yes even if your on a 56k you will have reverse dns unless your isp has a firewall.... i work for an isp with over 600 dial up users and everytime someone gets online they have a reverse dns

I used to work for MSN before I moved to my current home. I had to leave msn when I moved.. I now work for a local isp here in town. And no I dont use the isp I work for as a provider...
msn was a cake job they never could keep anything working ...

you'll notice that there is a new line added to the sign-up rules which specifically prohibits scripts, malicious or otherwise.
I saw the moderator logs which had logged ~150-200 deleted posts from you in the space of 16 hours.

I don't see anything terribly wrong with what CF did (aside from the fact that it's petty and childish) but there was no serious h4x0ring involved ...just serious stupidity and a poor guys desire to be |337 that didn't work out so good.
I'm ok with giving people a second chance, they just have to understand that they are on real thin ice and there won't be a third chance ...period.
Post counts don't make you senior ...involving yourself in discussions with other people on the boards and making an effort to be part of the comunity through good posts and bad does. Just get that in your head.

I don't get the fuss cf.We all (most of us) lost our post count when detnet switched hands.
And while it was still detnet1, a bunch ditched their original logins and started fresh.
I had to once 'cause of pw problems.
I guess in the case ofpost numbers, size really DOESN'T count, but what you've done with it.

Yes, I fucked up.I assumed (and we all know what happens when we assume), that people should have the privelege of retracting a post, or double post, instead of editing it to say "nevermind"...
Most boards are smart enough, however, to subtract that post from a user's total. this board is dumb in that regard...
