Wiley
Inpseration from another thread... how many post it note pads did you bring home from your place of work...? Posted by Wiley on Jul. 15 2002,22:02
I moved onto harder stuff. Durring the last two months I have taken home 5 computers (one that was sent to Nikita), 1 laptop, 1 VCR, a Color Wax Printer and two 5 port hubs. I'm sure I clear 10K/yr in office stuff alone. My next feat is stealing the leather chair out of my office. Posted by humanoid on Jul. 15 2002,22:07
just some video games.

Hmmm, does your company have a "snitch" reward? I'm thinking I could make some good money...

I got a:(1) PIII Dell complete with keyboard, monitor, and mouse. (2) Leather Chairs (2) 12 port 3com 10/100 switches and numerous pads of paper and sweet ass < Sensa Pens >! But I've retired from lifting office hardware. They now have shittier left over stuff than what I already have... Swiping that PIII 800 Dell to replace my PII450 was sweet. But swiping our current 1ghz models to replace my dual 1ghz, or my 2.53ghz just doesn't make sense... Posted by Jynx on Jul. 16 2002,23:51
My office doesn't have post-it notes that are currently within my reach.I keep a company laptop at home every day, but since they know about it, I don't think that counts. Also, they pay 100% of my broadband internet bill, and I spend at least half of my time doing dumb stuff like this. Does that count as stealing? Posted by Uberkommando on Jul. 17 2002,06:49
Cleaned out the supply cabinet at my old job. Grabbed as many pens and post-it notes as I could stuff into my jacket on the last day.I worked for a CE squadron on an Air Force base, so I kinda felt like I was going to get court-martialed if they caught me. Posted by joelthegreat on Jul. 17 2002,14:04
Which Air Force base were you at Uber?I work for the Air Force and if I get caught trying to take crap home from work I get in deep shit with the higher ups. But, back at some of my old jobs, I got a nice brand new mag lite, some pens, and other small shit... oh poop. Posted by ShakerMaker on Jul. 17 2002,14:09
There is fuck all worth 'borrowing' where I work.

That was at Ramstein Air Base. I'm at Tinker now. At my last job, in a photolab, we had a huge box filled with batteries from disposable cameras. There were about 1,000 batteries of various sizes in there, only partially used. People were allowd to come in and take a few. On my last day, I took the box. Rammstein is a nice base from what I hear, I don't know too much about Tinker. I'm stuck in the middle of Hell, Lackland AFB Texas...ugh. Oh well, I still have soup! Posted by incubus on Jul. 19 2002,16:11
Sorry, I thought you meant drugs. Posted by The_Stomper on Jul. 21 2002,20:18
Currently unemployed, but my (hopefully) new job entitles a lot of hardware under me.Nearly 50 Win2K servers, controlling everything from the A/C to the website for my university. Maybe I can distribute the workload among ... say, 40 of them ... ... nah. I'll just be happy to be in a workplace with a T3 line at my diposal. |
