picture this:
2 days ago. im sleeping. guy whose family im living with [Joe, formerly my
best friend] is on our computer, playing a game, cursing at the game/banging
his fist on the keyboard/head-butting the monitor/etc as per usual....
after about 2 hours of unsucessfully trying to get back to sleep,i get
fucking sick of this, and say "christ dude, there is no reason to get that
worked up over a game!" his reply is "fuck you, i don't need to hear this
shit from you, bleh bleh bleh."
A shouting match ensues. He throws a tantrum like a 2 year old, and starts
banging his head on a nearby dresser. He stops suddenly and says "oh shit!"
He turns around to look in the mirror on the other side of the room, and i
can see blood streaming down his face from where he split his forehead open.
He should have went to the hospital to get stitches. Instead, he takes a
few minutes in the bathroom to control (not stop) the bleeding, throws a hat
on, and goes to work.
Now, when i first saw what he had done to himself, my first reaction was
"shit, maybe he'll learn something from that." Not a chance. He blames
this all on me, and will have a nice big fat (should have had stiches) scar
on his forehead to remind him for the rest of his god damn life of how much
of an asshole i am. A high yield thermonuclear warhead couldn't have more
thoroughly destroyed our friendship. I can see the hatred in his eyes, and
hear it in his voice.
The situation now is that i need to get the fuck out of here ASAP. This
will take me at least a few weeks. The only time ill be using this computer
while still here is when Joe is nowhere the fuck around. After i do get out
of here, there will be a period (a few weeks or months....) where i won't
have any computer access.
I will be dissapointed if wiley, kuru, and at least 2 others don't have witty and insulting responses to this, so here's a preemptive GO FUCK YOURSELVES!!!!!!!

I agree with you, I hate it when people get so uncontrollably angered by a video game ...I mean it's just a game, right? Why would you let it bother you so much ...just turn it off. It's such childish behavior to let all that anger build inside you until you just need to lash out and say hateful things against people out of anger. You rant and you rant over a game ...a game!! It's just pathetic. And all because some Korean is logged onto "your" server.
It really is a bitch when that hate comes back around and bites you in the ass ...ain't it?

My point is that you direct your video game anger at an ethnic group and your ex-friend directs his anger at you ...both are stupid in my eyes, but you can't go all hypocritical on me here seeing that you have some seemingly unresolved anger issues with Jews and Koreans. My advice is just push more SlimJims and BigGulps, get a raise and find your own place where you can decide what's acceptable behavior and what's not.

hmm.... well, some of you will be dissapointed, and others, less so:turns out my roomate/ex-friend hasn't lost his job as i had thought (unrelated to above, and im not even sure how he had supposedly 'lost' it, other than it had something to do with airport security and the FAA.....?), so since he's still employeed, the time i have unfettered access to the internet (i.e. the time when im home and joe is "nowhere the fuck around") will be more than i thought. i'll get a good 2-4 days during the week where i'll have a good stretch of hours to myself on this box0r.
Also it turns out joe won't be wanting this computer when we go our seperate ways, other than the 40 gig HD. Allah be praised!

The reason that Nitrous gives a person a high is that it reduces oxygen flow to the brain, and brain cells deprived of oxygen go through bursts of synaptic electrical activity as the cells begin to die off from asphyxia. Of course if you kill enough brain cells by depriving your brain of enough oxygen for a long enough period of time, you end up with permanent damage or death.
