I'm normally a pretty subdued guy, especially since I moved to Tampa and especially at work where I couldn't give a rat's left testicle what other people think of me. I almost lost it completely today. Why some poeple, namely one of my managers, have to place blame all the time I don't know. IT seems that these same people are often grossly wrong about so much and yet they can't admit it. If it hadn't been for one arriving customer, I don't think I would have stopped with the comment I did.I hate my job. I hate the useless community college I attendthat has a lower standard than my high school. Since when did life become endless teedeum (sic)? I can't remember the last time something good happened to me and it's starting to tick me off. Posted by Wiley on Mar. 31 2002,02:59
Don't sit around waiting for good stuff to happen. Get a job you like and go to a better school. Where's it written that life is supposed to be good on it's own? You gotta make it good. If that doesn't work then get yourself a 12 pack and drink until life seems better then it did when you started. That may not be the best advice in the world, but I'm not a damn shrink. Just don't work a job you hate until you hear voices and decide to look for a bell-tower somewhere ...and if you do, aim for BIPED. Posted by assclown on Mar. 31 2002,07:36
tax: ask Flaggy about his life. that's some depressing shit, ri there.yeah, if you go insane, aim for Senator Hollings, BIPED, and and any RIAA/MPAA execs. Posted by DELUDED_BIPED on Mar. 31 2002,18:01
An excellent philosophy to have on life. Posted by incubus on Mar. 31 2002,18:59
"This is your life, it doesn't get any better than this. This is your life, good to the last drop. This is your life, and it's ending, one minute at a time."I agree with Wiley. Don't let opportunity pass you by. When you know that where you are is a dead end, stand up and walk. If you've nothing to lose you've only everything to gain . . . Goth chicks are a big turn off for me. Can't say why really. Maybe it's because I always think they are strung out on something and that they don't shave their legs. But then again I'm very shallow ...and very into hygene. Man what a lack of food will do to you!!! I'm damn near half asleep at my desk. Maybe I should eat something here. Posted by editor on Apr. 03 2002,00:41
Me hungry too/munches on goth girl... Posted by kuru on Apr. 04 2002,14:33
That lack of armpit shaving is a real thrill. Not.There's something very screwed up about chicks with hairy armpits. Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 04 2002,17:30
seems a little harsh to designate half the girls in mainland europe as very screwed up. there's a teensy-tinsy thing called personal choice you appear to have overlooked. don't get me wrong - i don't claim to understand it any more than you do...in fact it always makes me think of the plughole of the bath in my student flat, which is not a pleasant recollection, but do try and remember that not everyone in the world adheres to the models of female 'perfection' set down by vogue and other fashion mags in the late 60's and which have done more to screw up the post-feminist generation than divorce, drugs and BG put together. oops. that turned into more of a rant than i intended. i'm nice honestly. i am available for childrens parties too. Marxist dialectic and the breakdown of the nation-state a speciality Posted by kuru on Apr. 04 2002,17:35
I still see something wrong with not practicing good hygeine.I don't much like armpit hair on men, either, and think that they should shave it in the interest of cleanliness and deodorizing. Posted by editor on Apr. 04 2002,17:44
*&^% Men with *shaved* armpits? Got one of those lurking by my bed just right now...I was going to expound on shaving, but Kuru stole the show. What else do men need to shave, Kuru? Ack! Japanese! Posted by kuru on Apr. 04 2002,17:49
Their nuts. No, I'm not kidding. I don't like to get hair in my throat. And their backs. Wearing a sweater with no shirt on? Ewww. And um, if they're really hairy, their legs. Brush burn, not my thing. And I like bare chests. So um, yeah. Posted by editor on Apr. 04 2002,18:00
I will never shave my nutsos for noone. -stubble- bleh

MTV had a whole thing on Goth sex last night, did anybody catch it? It was all about the piercing and the cutting/biting/bleeding and S&M. The thing pretty much churned my stomach. Now I'm far from a prude seeing how me and my friends will typically end up at Spanky's on a Friday night to hang with some porn stars, or end up at Club Rubber or Circus Disco on Saturdays for some nakedness ...but why the hell would you want to get into blood play? I mean, how pissed off at your parents do you gotta be before you want to mutilate yourself? At no point during my sexual adventures have I ever (intentionally) left a permanent scar on myself of a partner. I think Goth is just a cry for attention from the girls who never made the cheerleading squad.Edit: I shave my nuts. I'm supportive of my gf's wishes. Hell, she has her hair ripped out with wax for me. Posted by veistran on Apr. 04 2002,18:22
no, not really. I'd go so far as to say half of the people in mainland europe are very screwed up. Posted by Nikita on Apr. 04 2002,18:23
Alright! The Death chick from the Sandman series. She's my favorite! And that's one of my more-liked quotes! Posted by DELUDED_BIPED on Apr. 05 2002,06:57

Can anyone explain what the point on pubic hair is?I mean, evolution and all, we lost most our body hair since we were apes, but for some reason there must've been some evolutionary need for hairy balls. I can't imagine what. Shaving backs might be a bit hard to do without assistance. Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 05 2002,09:57
cute. remind me what the alien abduction rate is in the states right now? and kuru: i recommend frequent washing if you want that to clear up. deforestation is not the answer. i admit shaving can be a beautiful thing between two consenting idiots but, call me old fashioned, i like to look past the hair at the person underneath. Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 05 2002,10:06
oh and could someone tell me how to get rid of the exceptionally lame quote underneath my non-existant avatar. i can't find it in the control panel. my 'sk1llz' are not now, and never have been 'm4d' and i wouldn't like there to be any confusion. not that there would be as apparently i can't even change one line of text.
Posted by DELUDED_BIPED on Apr. 05 2002,15:20
I love the way people refer to evolution as a "law" and not a "theory"
Posted by Beldurin on Apr. 05 2002,15:51
It's in your control panel, under personal info. Click Edit Profile and it's the line marked: "Custom member title" Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 05 2002,16:08
you'd think so, wouldn't you? but strangely, no, it isn't. that was within even my meagre 'sk1llz'. there might be something up with that edit profile page tho as it won't remember my interests either. Posted by Beldurin on Apr. 05 2002,16:11
Strangeness...do we have another psycho IkonBug? Where's the RAID, or the BlackFlag (wow, both ironic, don't you think?).You might want to ask ed, Wiley, Incubus, or Dys about it then. Posted by editor on Apr. 05 2002,18:28
Hey CB, howya doin?/shakes hand Do me a favor and check your CP again. I made a little tweak. Posted by veistran on Apr. 05 2002,18:50
...not to say that everywhere doesn't have screwballs. Just that Europe is where anti-semitism seems to be making real comeback as the chic thing to do these days, for instance. Posted by kuru on Apr. 05 2002,18:58
Yeah, I like to see the person underneath. And kiss them. And lick them. And tickle them with my tongue..And that all just works so much better if I don't have to start an expidition through the jungle. Posted by just_dave on Apr. 05 2002,19:40
heheh sounds like she knows what she likes!! Anyways, I don't think I could dis the hair. The itch when it starts growing back would be horendus.. dave Posted by mqa on Apr. 07 2002,09:09
Every pubic hair is paired with a sweat gland. When you sweat, you also release pheremones. The pubic hair aids in the dispersion of pheremones (more surface area, quicker diffusion). So the question becomes, why aren't folks with more pubes more sexy? Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 08 2002,12:33
and, of course, armpit hair is a well know symptom of anti-semitism. btw i'd be very interested to know what the fuck you know about European extremism editor: cheers that all looks fine. I now look like as much of a twat as i actually am. edit: forgot to give thanks to the Maker Posted by editor on Apr. 08 2002,13:27
Hey; what country are you in?
Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 08 2002,13:56
/me looks out of window. hmm judging from the red buses and queues of ppl waiting to gawp moronically at the decaying carcass of a gin-soaked animatronic anachronism, i suspect i might be in Britain.

Posted by editor on Apr. 08 2002,17:51
...being in Britain means you miss something automatically
Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 08 2002,18:26
yes but thankfully it's just the superbowl and that always bored the shit out of me anyway. do i get an explanation? Posted by kuru on Apr. 08 2002,18:53
That's why you don't let it grow back. Posted by just_dave on Apr. 08 2002,20:45
Well true, but then again, I dont have a reason to get rid of it yet .. so I guess when the time comes I will be faced with the decesion.. -dave Posted by veistran on Apr. 08 2002,21:25
I generally don't include Britain in my definition of Europe, because all the limey's I know get pissed at me when I do... anyway it has nothing to do with one and other... but that's the point. As far as European extremism... what do you want as an example of my knowledge? How the one Italian dude was assassinated by some supposedly long gone marxist group for instance? Or the what Slovenian government was it, that didn't want the three transvestitie's to represent them(Slovenia) at some European music thing?(okay so that's more intolerance...) Posted by DELUDED_BIPED on Apr. 08 2002,23:25

Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 09 2002,11:09
my country is in denial, what can i do? We're in the EU, the EEC, the Common Agricultural Policy and we signed the Maastricht Treaty. oh and we're connected to Europe by the continental shelf. we do however have a different armpit hair policy to the rest of europe, which is perhaps where the confusion has occured.
I don't mean to go on, but sometimes, you guys perception's of Europe are hilarious. We're not *all* a bunch of communist, bomb-wielding anit-semites you know. Posted by Beldurin on Apr. 09 2002,18:58
How about communist scone-wielding anti-semites? Posted by veistran on Apr. 10 2002,06:14
No, I think it's more that your country is "aloof" of Europe in some respects, which honestly is a good thing, imho.
It's not really to say that I felt those were great exmples, they were just the most recent things I could think of. Read your papers if you don't believe me... < article in The Observer >, read the replies to the article while you're at it. How about < this >, it's not as if this stuff is isolated incidents. Posted by editor on Apr. 10 2002,07:04
I must be ill-informed. I always thought that Jewish women were beautiful. Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 10 2002,12:34
hmmm. have you actually read those articles properly? This is how the observe article concludes:
and the other one is an editorial by Tom Gross who works for...guess who? Conrad Black. the guy who the article you quoted accused of being:
You are being conned. What Israel is doing currently is cynically and cold-bloodedly playing on the world's fear of being called anti-semitic. They are using the leeway that this grants them to commit terrible acts in the West Bank while the world looks on and goes 'oh, sorry would you mind awfully, sort of, not doing that please' which isn't going to bother israel a whole lot in it's current mood. They are using the sympathetic press to stifle the debate as no newspaper wants to appear anti-semitic. There is no 'rising tide of anti-semitism' in Europe. There have been an increased number of attacks on jews by arabs, which, whilst unforgivable, is to be expected given that israel have invaded the west bank. There is some skillful media manipulation going on to make ppl think that the two are one and the same and that anyone who critiscises israel might as well be wearing a swastika. Posted by veistran on Apr. 10 2002,22:04
Like I said, read the replies... try this one
Anyway, the biggest problem is that too many people still connect all jews with Israel, agreed? We can agree to disagree about the rest. Posted by Wiley on Apr. 10 2002,22:09
<BlackFlack> The Jews Control The Media!!! Well ...them and the aliens! </BlackFlag> I really have nothing to add to this debate ...I'm not middle eastern, I don't plan on being middle eastern, so who gives a crap if they are anti-semitic. That and the fact that I cannot be drafted. Posted by EvilGenius on Apr. 11 2002,07:32
are we allowed to comment on exactly how bad threads get off topic?albeit, it is funny to hear rants about jews and pubic hair, and whatever else is oging on in britain is kind of funny. Posted by Crafty Butcher on Apr. 11 2002,12:10
yep i'm with you on both counts. i think i might be being a little defensive anyway.
don't forget the shapeshifting lizards. they're very big this time of year.
you won't offend me that's for certain. i am the most random person i know. i'm never certain how off topic one can get without bovine intervention. so i tend to plough on regardless. Posted by EvilGenius on Apr. 11 2002,21:14
oh, there's no offense intended.. apologies if it seemed that way. i thoroughly enjoy reading where threads go, keeps everything interesting. Posted by ic0n0 on Apr. 12 2002,00:11
On the subject of hair, I am descended from Irish Catholics and I have more hair (pubic or otherwise) than anyone I have ever met, this may not be the case with the rest of my Celtic brethren so what I am saying is that stereotypes about hairiness are not always true.

I'm 1/2 irish catholic and !hairy (to um, further the study...)
