The other day, I went looking for a birthday card for my mom.I'm still having nightmares.
This helpful little suggestion is sent out to all of the large greeting-card organizations:
IF I HAVE TO READ **ONE MORE** NAUSEATINGLY CUTESY, PREDICTABLE, BRAIN-DEAD, ABCB-RHYMING-STYLED POEM ONE MORE TIME I WILL PUT A LARGE ARSON-RELATED CONTRACT OUT ON YOUR COMPANY.
Why can you not create some decent cards, for once?? No one I know likes those cards that go:
You're such a perfect mom, you know,
You've always helped me out!
The perfect way you wipe my nose
Just makes me want to shout!
loop ad nauseum
Please do us all a favor. Fire all of your current crop of zombie rhyming machines, and hire a couple of creative folks for us.
Please.
